What we collect

The site is a static set of pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking, and its fonts are served from this site rather than a third party. We do not build a profile of you when you browse.

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request details to serve the pages and protect the site from abuse.

The only other personal data we hold is what you choose to send us. If you email us, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you put in the message.

Why we hold it and our lawful basis

We use your message to reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss working together. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and where you are asking us to quote for work, taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Cloudflare's processing rests on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. It is handled on our behalf by Cloudflare, which hosts the site, and by Zoho Mail, which runs our mailbox in its EU data centre. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK; where it does, the transfer is covered by the safeguards in its data processing terms. We only disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as we need it for the enquiry or working relationship, and delete it once it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will action your request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
